The science

Light, at three depths.

Red light therapy (also called photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with skin and tissue. Different wavelengths penetrate to different depths. The G11 emits three — each chosen for what it's generally understood to do.

660 nm
Red
Surface — epidermis

Generally associated with skin tone, surface texture, and visible glow.

Relative depth
850 nm
Near-infrared
Deeper — dermis & subcutaneous

Generally associated with deeper tissue support and recovery.

Relative depth
1064 nm
Deep NIR
Deepest reach in this device

A wavelength typically used in clinical laser settings for deeper penetration.

Why laser, not LED

Coherent light, uniform delivery.

The G11 uses true VCSEL laser diodes rather than standard LEDs. Laser light is coherent, which generally means more uniform distribution across the treatment area and more efficient delivery to the target depth. In practice, this allows a higher effective irradiance — 48 to 60 mW/cm² across 270 chips.

What it isn't

An honest scope.

This is a cosmetic and wellness device, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and we don't make specific clinical claims about outcomes. Light therapy is a supportive tool, not a miracle cure.
