The G11 emits three wavelengths of light — 660 nm red, 850 nm near-infrared, and 1064 nm deeper near-infrared — through true VCSEL laser diodes. Compared to standard LEDs, VCSEL lasers produce a tighter beam angle and higher energy density, which allows light to penetrate deeper into skin layers rather than scattering at the surface. The three wavelengths are chosen to work at different depths: 660 nm acts on the upper skin layers, 850 nm reaches into deeper tissue to support cellular energy production, and 1064 nm goes deepest to target structural, collagen-producing layers. See the How It Works page for a fuller explanation.
